She has elevated Ugandan fashion and modeling to both national and international limelight.
After High school Santa had no choice but to take a job as a waitress struggling to make ends meet to pursue her fashion dream. Her parents had just retired from civil service.
In 1996 her dream gradually unfolded as she became a glamorous catwalk model highly booked in Kampala, the Ugandan Capital.
In 2001 she set-up Uganda’s leading African themed modeling & Casting Agency-ARAPAPA and Later on as a Fashion Designer established an African themed yet contemporary FASHION DESIGN STUDIO.
She has enjoyed 11 years of experience in Uganda’s Fashion Industry.
In the last quarter of 2003 introduced a remarkable initiative; The Uganda International Fashion Week project as an annual platform to develop and empower stakeholders in the fashion and textile industry,
In 2006, she hit the mark as H.E. Y.K. Museveni the President of the Republic of Uganda recognized her as the winner of the 1st Prize of the Presidential Transformers Appreciation Award in the category of Fashion. .
The President introduced the Award as a gesture to recognize individuals who have toiled to develop Uganda alongside his great leadership.
For the last 5years, she has worked as a Modeling Consultant, Fashion Designer, Local Fashion Promoter, Producer & choreographer of shows and Event Manager. Handling major accounts for both global as well as local brands.
